Scott Parker

Scott Parker is currently the Executive Director of the Historic Chief Theater in downtown Steamboat Springs. With a BS in Social Studies Secondary Education and a M.Ed in Curriculum and Development, Scott has been involved in theatre and education for the past 20 years. Scott got his start juggling in 1995 when fellow non-clown Kelly taught him to juggle. Having played sports (volleyball, basketball and baseball) most of his life…juggling was easy to pick up. Beanbags led to glow in the dark balls, which led to clubs and eventually torches, knives and machetes!! In 1996 Scott and Kelly moved from Western New York to Steamboat Springs Colorado where juggling for kids at the local After School Program led to an epic trip re-tracing the Lewis and Clark Trail and working in schools all the way teaching juggling, team work and goal setting. Now 20 years later they are still juggling!! From private parties and stage shows to emceeing events and corporate workshops they have done and are still doing it all!!
